- The objectives of this research were to describe about the headmaster’s role as an education manager to improve the extracurricular activity school in preparing the role of headmaster in the plan extracurricular activity, execution extracurricular activity and evaluation extracurricular activity for Junior High School Muara Rupit, Rupit District of Musi Rawas Regency. The method of this research was used study descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this research were the headmaster, headmaster deputy, headmster deputy of students section, extracurricular builder, teacher and students following extracurricular activity of Junior High School Muara Rupit, Rupit District of Musi Rawas Regency. The result of this research was the improve extracurricular activity is boy scout, adolescent red cross, activity of sports, activity of art, and activity relligious. Some event so that can reach school achievement. Key words : Education manager, extracurricular activity.
