- This research focuses on analyzing translated meaning errors from English into Indonesian made by the sixth semester English Department students at Bengkulu University. The population of this research was all of the sixth semester English Department students which consisted of 63. The data were collected by analyzing the students’ works in translating English text into Indonesian. And then, the student’s translation errors were grouped base on the types of errors. The result of the students’ works were tabulated in a table and the data were analyzed by using the of the percentage technique. The distribution was as follows: (1) Wrong Terminology (WT) 100%, (2). Syntactic Error (SE) 0%, (3). Omission (OM) 100%, (4). Wrong Structure or Agreement Error (SA) 0% (5). Misspelling (SP) 100%, (6). Punctual Error (PE) 55.55%, (7). Miscellaneous Error (ME) 9.52 %. It was concluded that the types of errors that made by the sixth semester students of the English Study Program in translating English into Indonesian was Wrong Terminology (WT), Syntactic Error (SE), Omission (OM), Wrong Structure or Agreement Error (SA), Misspelling (SP), Punctual Error (PE) and Miscellaneous Error (ME).
