- The general goal of this research is to described of the effort all Public Vocational High School 1 Arga Makmur teacher in face of certification. The method that used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. The subject in this research is country Public Vocational High School 1 teachers which have followed certification both for passing and also which didn’t pass certification. Data collecting with interview method, documentation and observation. Data analyzed by using research with stages reduce data, displayed and data take of conclusion/verification to know the effort vocational high school teacher in face of certification.. This research conclude that effort teacher in face of certification is the effort teacher to show and fulfill all certification element, covering : Element A (fundamental duty and qualification), element B (profession development element), and element C (profession supporter) so that teacher can collect used physical evidence in compilation of portfolio so that can follow certification.
