Abstract: This research is aimed at identifying writing kearning strategy used and students’s writing achievement. Then, the research would like to find out whether or not there is any significant correlation between writing learning strategies and writing achievement at the fifth-semester students of English Education Study Program at Universitas Bengkulu. The research was designed as a quantitative correlation method. The population of the research was 79 students of English Education Study Program at Universitas Bengkulu Academic Year 2018/2019. The purposive samples were 69 students, taken from the population, meawhile 10 students was taken as tryout sample. The alternative hypothesis: There is any correlation between writing learning strategy and writing achievement. The instrument used for collecting the data were writing learning strategies questionnaire and writing test. The collected data were analyzed by Pearson Product Moment Formula using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) software version 16. The result of this research revealed that there is a correlation between writing learning strategies and writing achievement because the correlation coefficient is 0.357 in weak correlation categorized. It is concluded that it is needed to strengh student’s achievement through train and introduce writing learning strategies deeply.
