  • The Seluma Regional Government Office area, Talang Saling, Seluma District as a case study in this study is an office area and a vehicle crossing road. This study aims to analyze modified slope stability in several variations using the Bishop Method and the Finite Element Method, so that it is known that the safe factor (FK) and soil type on the slopes in the Seluma Regional Government Office, Talang Saling, Seluma District. The study began by carrying out a physical and mechanical property test, then performed slope stability analysis with a computer program to find out the FK. Calculation of slope stability analysis using a LEMbased program with the effect of pore water obtained results on the original slope 1, FK = 0.60, safe slope, FK = 1.65, 2 stair terraces, FK = 1.51 and 3 stair terraces, FK = 1.25. The original slope 2, FK = 0.51, safe slope, FK = 1.50, 2 stair terraces, FK = 1.61 and 3 stair terraces, FK = 1.31. The original slope 3, FK = 0.41, safe slope, FK = 1.6, 2 stair terraces, FK = 1.98 and 3 stair terraces, FK = 1.5. Calculation of slope stability analysis using FEM-based programs with the influence of pore water results on the original slope 1, FK = 0.64, safe slope, FK = 1.64, 2 stair terraces, FK = 1.00 and 3 stair terraces, FK = 0.97. The original slope 2, FK = 0.55, safe slope, FK = 1.51, 2 stair terraces, FK = 0.84 and 3 stair terraces, FK = 1.00. The original slope 3, FK = 0.44, safe slope, FK = 1.51, 2 stair terraces, FK = 1.00 and 3 stair terraces, FK = 0.95. So, the safe slope is the slope with FK = 1.5 and is the most efficient slope modification.
