  • The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of store environment on customer retention with perceived value as a mediation variabel in the modern retail industry in Bengkulu city. The number of samples taken as many as 161 customer modern retail store in Bengkulu city. Data obtained by distributing questionnaires were analyzed using regression mediated analysis.This study found that store environment has a significant influence to customer retention, store environment has a significant influence to perceived value, perceived value has a significant influence to customer retention, and perceived value mediates the influences between store environment and customer retention.
