- This type of research is descriptive research. Descriptive research is a type research that leads to elaboration, explaining the details of the forms of research that will be constructed. In this case the research carried out is to explain the rice planting that occurred in Rawa Makmur Permai Village, Bengkulu City. Where this research is only intended for the data studied. The population in this study 42 respondens of rice farmers, the sample was directed by 25 people with a (Convenience sampling) method. The questionnaire was distributed directly to respondents as many as 25 respondents. The research objective was to find out the amount of the cost, how much the cost was spent and to find out the feasibility level of rice farming in Rawa Makmur Permai Village. Based on the research it can be concluded that the results of this study indicate how much the average costs incurred by farmers in the Rawa Makmur Permai Village with a scale ratio of 8.7 which means the Padi Sawah business is favorable.
