  • This study was intended to investigate the lesson materials delivery applied by English teachers at SMPN 11 Kota Bengkulu and to find out the most dominant and least dominant in lesson materials delivery by the English teachers at SMP N 11 Kota Bengkulu. This is a descriptive research. The subjects of this research consist of all English teachers who teach the first, second, and third at SMPN N 11 Kota Bengkulu in academic year of 2015/2016. The instrument used in this research was checklist observation. The items are designed of Burden and Byrd Theory, 1999. The checklist observations were divided into 3 variables, namely, the beginning of a lesson, the middle of a lesson, and the ending of a lesson. The data were analyzed by using steps: 1) Classifying teachers’ lesson materials delivery, 2) Calculating teachers’ lesson materials delivery using percentage formula to find out the frequency of each parts of lesson materials delivery used by the teachers, 3) Deciding the dominant part of lesson materials delivery and the least dominant part of lesson materials delivery used by the teachers. The result shows the part of lesson materials delivery used by English teachers: The beginning of lesson (77%), The middle of lesson (98%), The ending of lesson (68%). From the result, it can be conclude that the dominant part of lesson materials delivery which applied by the teachers was the middle of lesson and the least dominant part of lesson materials delivery which applied by the teachers was the ending of lesson.
