  • This research aimed to investigate learners’ learning styles in learning English as a foreign language. The research was designed as a descriptive quantitative study. The population was the EFL learners of English Education Study Program at Bengkulu University who consist of 61 seventh semester learners 2015/2016 academic year taken as sample of the research by using total sampling. The instrument used was in form of questionnaire which consisted of 94 items adapted from Cho, Cohen, and Oxford (2003). The total items represented three categories of learning styles namely sensory, personality, and cognitive learning styles. Based on the categories the highest percentage of sensory learning styles was visual. The personality category was highly introvert, random-intuitive, and tolerant. The last, cognitive category showed that the majority of respondents were global, field-dependent, reflective styles.
