- This research was a classroom action research. The objective of this research was to explain how far using Word Wall media can improve students’ vocabulary and factors improved the students’ vocabulary at the seventh grade students of class B at SMPN 22 Kota Bengkulu in the academic year 2014/2015. The subject of this research were 22 students, consisted ten (10) males and twelve (12) females. The instruments of this research were vocabulary test, students’ observation checklist and field notes, teacher’s observation checklist and field notes, and interview. The research was conducted into one cycle which including plan, act, observe, and reflect. The evaluation test was given at the end of the cycle. The result of this research that using Word Wall media improved students’ vocabulary successfully. There were 91% students reached the indicator of success or got score ≥ 75. The improvement was influenced by the students’ attitude toward the presented materials, media,activities and the teacher focused in guiding and helping the studentsand also the teacher improvement, motivation in teaching vocabulary by using word wall media, and the way teacher used media.
