- This study aimed to describe the correlation between learning motivation and academic resilience of receivers of cash transfer for poor students (BSM) of SMPN 18 Bengkulu. This research is quantitative research which employed 93 students as sample through simple random sampling technique. The data analysis used was Pearson product moment correlation. The results of the academic resilience questionnaire showed that a student is categorized in high academic resilience with the range of scores 195-212, 81 students were categorized in moderate level with the scores in between 124-194, and 11 students were categorized in low academic resilience with score of 53-123. The results of learning motivation questionnaire showed that 11 students were categorized in high level of motivation in learning with the range of score 184-250, 77 students were considered having moderate motivation with score of 118-183, and students were considered at low level with score range 50 117. The results of the data analysis is a very strong correlation between the two variables with the value of rxy= 0.968 with 0.000 significance.
