- The aim of this research is to determine the density and distribution patterns of mangrove snails (Telescopium telescopium) in Estuary Watershed River Bahari Pulau Baai, Bengkulu City. This research has been conducted at April to June 2016. This research was conducted by a purposive random sampling method. The plot is made 1m x 1m many as 10 plots at predetermined vegetation (mangrove, swamp nails, palm oil). The data obtained in quantitative analysis include: population density, distribution patterns and chi square test. From the results of this study mangrove snail population density (Telescopium telescopium) on mangrove vegetation 22.2 ind / , swamp nails vegetation 16.8 ind / and oil palm vegetation 8,3 ind / and Group length body snail populations most dominant mangrove vegetation found on the third is the size of 60-80 mm. The pattern of deployment on vegetation and mangrove swamps nails are clustered with 1,2151- Id 1.1220 at random with palm vegetation Id 1.0223. The measurement results physic-chemical factors of water is the water temperature ranges between 24-30 ° C, water pH 6.1 to 6.5 and salinity 26-32 ‰.
