- This study aims to establish the social interaction form of children in Zam-Zam Globalorphanage. The data collection is done by using observation, interview, and documentation. The informant selection is done by snowball sampling technique that determining the informant with a certain considerations. Descriptive qualitative analysis of the data through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing the conclusion. The theory used in this research is the theory of symbolic interactionism.These results indicate that the interaction of children are doing in Global Zam-Zam Orphanage, there are two forms of cooperation and competition of orphanage children both inside and outside the orphanage (school). The social interactions are formed for their cooperation. It makes them become more familiar and trusting. It seemed on academic cooperation, cooperation in the hygiene field and the food provision at orphanage, cooperation in the economy fields, cooperation in social and religious, while the interaction of children do occur at orphanageand outside the orphanage (school) in the form of competition namely the competition of education in learning achievement, the competition of stuff ownership and the competition of hanging out with friends outside the orphanage.
