- This study aims to find public participation in the implementation of Disaster Management disaster and its impact on the village of Disaster Preparedness in the village Srikaton Central Bengkulu Regency, want to understand the forms of community participation in village Srikaton in the implementation of the Disaster Management conducted by the government and the public, would like to express the constraints of society the village Srikaton Central Bengkulu District in participating in the implementation of Disaster Management. In this study, researchers will use descriptive qualitative method because the collected data typically in the form of words, pictures, and mostly not the numbers. Data Collection Techniques used most strategic in penlitian, because the main goal of researchers is to get the data. In this study the researchers used primary data sources and secondary data sources, ie obtaining or receiving data directly from the source and collect data with the documents supporting the course of the study. From the research that has been done, from the Community's Participation in disaster management in the village Srikaton are as follows: a. Labor force participation is in menanggulangai disaster, this proves that the lack of awareness of citizens on the local environment. This is proved by the existence of citizens who do not share mutual cooperation, in preparing the response to the disaster. Force participation for example, residents worked together to build the post disaster preparedness. b. A thought that public participation in the form of a thought is already there and the response of the people was quite good. Although there are still people who do not give the idea dikarnakan not understand the effort or the way in disaster management. Partisipai a thought for example, contribute ideas in management in order to avoid disaster. c. Property, public participation in the form of property in the form of dues money from the citizens and the form of consumption is provided by women. Then the last is the provision of tools of citizens that will be used for activities of mutual cooperation. Keywords: Participation, Disaster Management
