- Quality of life is the individual assessment of their position in life, in the context of culture and value system where they live in relation to individual goals, expectations, standards and what the individual attention. There are three levels of the need to determine the level of a person's life, among others Physical Basis of Life (fisical basic needs), Basic Cultural Needs (basic cultural needs), and high income. This study aims to analyze quality of life of fishing communities and fishermen to analyze perceptions of their position in life. This study uses primary data is by dividing the questionnaires and conducting interviews at a fisherman. The analysis tool used is a Likert scale score of respondents' answers are collected in the table. The result showed that overall basic physical life, the cultural needs of revenue base and they are not fully met. Income of fishermen who have side jobs on average about the same. Fishermen who have not worked a second job as a full-time fishers because they are divided into two. According to the research the average total score was 2,13, fishermen perception that lies between the interval from 1,76-2,51 with categories Less Agree (KS). Which means that the quality of life of fishing communities in the District of Teluk Segara Bengkulu City Less Good. Keywords: Quality of Life, Fisherman, Perception
