- The implementation of cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) to increase the activity and students learning outcomes in the concept of sound in the classroom SMPN 18 VIII.6 Bengkulu City. This research is classroom action research that was done in three cycles the enhancement activity of learning and students learning outcomes in the concept of sound. Subjects in this study were all students VIII.6 class. They are all 26 students. Data obtained from test and observation were analyzed using descriptive statistics. This research was conducted in four stages: planning, action, observation and reflection. The results of the reserach showed that the activity of the students in the first cycle an average score of 31 students activity in good category, increased in the second cycle is 32 in good category and increased again in the third cycle 34 in good category. Students learning outcomes in the first cycle for cognitive aspects of students average score of 73,46 with the completeness of 46%, an average score for affective aspects of 12,06 and an average score for psychomotor aspects of 12,10. Then the second cycle with completeness 69% with an average score of 78,43, an average score for affective aspects of 13,21 and an average score for psychomotor aspects of 13,02. In the third cycle with completeness 76% with an average score of 84,48, an average score for affective aspects of 14,08 and an average score for psychomotor aspects of 13,42.From the above results, there is an increase in activity of students learning anf students learning outcomes. Thus the implementation of cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together (NHT) can increase in activity of students learning outcomes in the concept of sound in classroom SMPN 18 VIII.6 Bengkulu City.
