- his study aimed to identify characteristics, to Calculate the level of purchasing of solok rice in household solok and analyze the factors that influence the buying rate of solok rice in Solok households in Bengkulu City. The basic method used in this research is descriptive method. This research was conducted at the Solok Family Association in Bengkulu City, with the consideration that the Solok Family Association in Bengkulu City has a great possibility in buying rice solok. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. Data analysis used (1) Purchase rate measured from purchasing rate criterion by counting interval (2) Factors influencing purchasing of solok rice are calculated by using multiple linear regression which is derived into Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The results showed that the buying rate of solok rice by the solok community in Bengkulu City was categorized as being of 26.31Kg / Household / Month. For variable of household expenditure significantly influence to purchase of solok rice by consumer of solok rice in Bengkulu City as well as dependent variable variable, substitution rice price and chilli price also have real effect to purchase of solok rice. While for variable age, education, income, price of solok rice, side dish price and perception of solok rice have no significant effect to buying solok rice by consumer of solok rice in Bengkulu City.
