- This study aimed to find out the decision making process of purchasing Rice Bengkulu in Bengkulu City, to determine the socio economic factors that influence the purchase of rice Bengkulu in Bengkulu City. Determination of the respondents in this study is based on research conducted by Asriani (2016) on "Analysis of Consumer Behavior Rice In Bengkulu City" where the respondent was determined to be 140 people. Of the 140 respondents in the study Asriani (2016) found that respondents who consume rice Bengkulu is 54 people. Furthermore, 54 is used as a respondent. Types of data collected included primary data and secondary data. Theresearch was conducted on 25 October, 2016 until the date of 25 November, 2016. The descriptive analysis in this study is used to determine the decision making process for customers in the purchase of rice in the Bengkulu of city, analysis linear regression multiple is used to determine the socio economic factors that affect the purchase of rice bengkulu. Recognition of the need, at this stage habits is the main reason for consumers to consume bengkulu rice, rice consumption is very important for consumers because rice is the staple food for the people of the Bengkulu City, Search information, sources of information about bengkulu rice to be purchased has been more widely known by the consumers and more reliant on information obtained by itself by consumers, Evaluation of Alternatives, the physical properties of rice is the most important thing to consider when buying rice, Purchasing, at this stage, the consumer will choose which products to meet their needs. Evaluation of Post Purchase, Consumers are satisfied with rice bengkulu purchased so that consumers have a desire to return to consume rice bengkulu. Variable age significantly affect bengkulu rice purchases, while variable rice prices adversely bengkulu rice purchases. However, variable income, number of family members, and education did not significantly affect the purchase of rice bengkulu.
