  • AbstractThe era of globalization that swept the world sharpened the competition between nations. To face the increasingly intense competition among nations, high quality human resources are demanded that have comparative and competitive advantages. One of the very strategic rides in improving the quality of superior human resources is through education, especially higher education.Realizing such a situation, the college bench is the hope and the seizure for the younger generation. But the observed reality, after graduating from college, it is not uncommon for graduates to face disappointment as they enter the workforce-they have no chance to enter. It turns out that college diploma alone is not enough to face the increasingly tough workforce competition. In connection with such conditions, then every student who is attending college in university should be able to prepare themselves with a second skill. To that end, universities need to equip their graduates with a strong attitude and entrepreneurial ability. In relation to the issues raised, this paper will address (a) higher education graduates and the challenges of the world of work and (b) the entrepreneurial spirit a student must possess. Keywords: cultural cultivation, entrepreneurship, world of work
