  • Introduction: School age children are very vulnerable to bullying. At that time the child began to leave the family environment and began to interact with the social environment, namely peers. One of the factors that influence bullying is peer group. Objectives: To determine the relationship between the role of peer group with bullying behavior in elementary school children from empirical studies of the last five years. Design: Literature review. Data sources: Article searches use the ProQuest, ScienceDirect and Google Scholar databases to retrieve relevant articles published in English and Indonesian between July 2016 and January 2020. Review methods: The article search strategy uses the PICOS framework with keywords tailored to the topic of writing. Articles selected in the last five years and based on the appropriate title, abstract or full text review according to inclusion and exclusion criteria before being submitted and reviewed. Results: A total of 10 articles were included in this writing. All articles regarding peer group, state thatnegative peers will cause bullying behavior and low peer support can lead to verbal, physical and relational bullying. Conclusions: There is a relationship between the role of peer group and bullying behavior in elementary school children. Keywords: peer group, bullying.
