- Background: The implementation of Spiritual Nursing Care at Jombang Islamic Hospital has not run optimally, many obstacles faced by nurses in the implementation of spiritual nursing care. Education or training is an effort that can be done to improve the actions of spiritual nursing care. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of applying Spiritual Care Module on nurses' actions in carrying out spiritual nursing care at Jombang Islamic Hospital. Method: This research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design, with a pretest and post-test with control group approach. The population of this study was nurses in the inpatient room of Jombang Islamic Hospital. The total sample of this study was taken by simple random sampling with the number of 36 respondents divided into the control group and the intervention group with the number of each group of 18 respondents. Results: Based on the results of the Independent T-test statistical obtained p-value = 0.040, where p-value <0.05. This shows that there are significant differences in the actions of nurses in the intervention group and the control group in Jombang Islamic Hospital. Conclusion: The provision of interventions in the form of education using the Spiritual care module provides influence on the actions of nurses in carrying out nursing care at Jombang Islamic Hospital. This can be as an important recommendation to do educational activities, training and spiritual nursing care training to nurses to improve nurses' skills in carrying out spiritual nursing care.
