- Sambiloto is one type of plant in Indonesia which is widely used as raw material for the manufacture of drugs. Sambiloto plant usefulness in curing various diseases mainly caused by the active andrographolid compounds that are useful as a drug ingredient. The purpose of this study is to determine the content and benefits of chemicals contained in plants sambiloto (Andrographis Paniculata) on the leaf. The method used is extraction. In accordance with the literature of the results of phytochemical tests showed that sambiloto leaf extract contains alkaloids, saponins, and flavonoids, also do not contain triterpenoids and steroids
