Daftar Isi:
- Spirometry is most often used to assess lung function. This study aims to determine the factors that affect pulmonary function including gender, age, weight, height and smoking or not smoking. The method used is cross sectional with 85 respondents. From the results of the study showed that the average age of respondents was 20 years as many as 50 people with normal lung function as many as 27 respondents (54%) and were obtained based on 40-45 kg body weight of 19 respondents (65.6%). For height obtained an average height of 161 - 165 cm with normal lung function as many as 11 respondents by 52.3%. For smoking as many as 45 respondents with normal lung function by 55.5%. From the significant value obtained that there is no correlation between age (p value = 0.31) height (p = 0.21) body weight (p = 0.341) smoking and not smoking (p = 0.31) is not significantly related to spirometry examination.
