- Students reading strategies, reading motivation is the most crucial aspect in improving student reading comprehension achievement. The aim of this study is to investigate the correlation among students reading strategies, reading motivation and their aspects of reading comprehension achievement. To achieve this aims, reading strategies, reading motivation questioners, and the students preparation TOEFL of reading comprehension achievement were administered to 137 students of English education study program students in Muhammadiyah University of Palembang. To analyze the data, person product moment correlation, coefficient was used and the result should significant correlation between reading strategies (1) Readiing Strategies (Total)to literal aspect of reading comprehension achievement, (2)cognitive to literal and applied aspect of RCA, (3) medium level of RM to leteral and interpretive aspect of RCA. Furthermore, regression analysis showed that RS (total) influenced literal aspect of RCA by 3,3%. Meanwhile, students cognitive RS influenced literal and applied aspect of RCA by 7.5% and 4.1% respectively. At last, medium level of RM influenced literal and interpretive aspect of RCA by 5.6% and 6,4% respectively. Finally, the interpretation of the study is presented.
