  • ABSTRACT Effect of Addition of Lignin Sulfonic Acid on Concrete Compressive Strength fc-20 By ERIK SUPRANATA Concrete composition materials have different characteristics and functions and influence each other. Concrete Compressive Strength is the main indicator in assessing the quality of concrete. Lignin Sulfonic Acid added material is expected to achieve the planned quality of concrete that is K-250 or fc20, this study aims to determine the normal concrete and normal concrete mixed with Lignin Sulfonic Acid added material in terms of concrete compressive strength. This study used an experimental method with a total of 48 specimens. The specimens consisted of concrete without added ingredients as a comparison, with Lignin Sulfonic Acid as added material 0.25%, 0.35%, 0.45% to the weight of cement. Each type of concrete mixture was made of 12 test specimens. The test object used was a concrete cube with a size of 15 x 15 x 15 cm. planned concrete quality is K-250 Kg/cm2 or fc20 Compressive tests were carried out at ages 3,7,14 and 28 days. From the results of the concrete compressive strength test results obtained Lignin Sulfonic Acid levels on the use of 0.45% with a compressive strength of 297.21 kg/cm2 or 23,8(mpa) at the age of 28 days. It can be concluded that the addition of Bestmittel is used to make hard concrete quickly. Keywords: Compressive Strength, Lignin Sulfonic Acid.
