- This research are to analyze to how much contribution of rubber farming income was to the income of sugarcane farmers in Sukananti Baru Village, Rantau Alai District, Ogan Ilir Regency and find out how much sugarcane farmers were earning. This research was conducted in Sukananti Baru Village, Sub district Rantau Alai , Ogan Ilir District, on December 2018 until February 2019. The method that used in this research was a survey method. The sampling method was Purposive Sampling where in this study the sample used 15 people of sugar cane farmers who had a part-time job with rubber farming. The data collection method used in this study was direct observation and interview by using a questionnaire prepared in advance. Processing and data analysis methods were descriptive analysis with quantitative approaches. The results showed that the existence of rubber farming as an additional income for sugar cane farmers greatly helped meet the daily needs of sugarcane farmers until the sugarcane harvest period. The contribution of rubber farming income as additional income to sugar cane farmers in Sukananti Baru Village, Rantau Alai District, Ogan ilir Regency has an average percentage of 35,54% with a total income of Rp. 2.862.274,05/ month. The income of sugar cane farmers in Sukananti Baru Village, Rantau Alai District, Ogan Ilir regency has an average of Rp.1834.488,71/month.
