  • The Terusan Menang Village River is one of the many Komering tributaries. At present there is a change in river morphology both because of the many activities carried out around the river, as well as natural conditions that cannot be avoided such as thick sediments on the river. Sediments in rivers often result in siltation of rivers, resulting in overflow of river water in the rainy season and drought during the dry season. The impact of silting the river of the Terusan Menang Village due to sediment must be watched out, because it will greatly affect the lives of the people around the river, to find out how much total sediment transport in the river Terusan Menang Village can be done by several calculation methods. The calculation method used to determine the average total sediment discharge in the river of the Terusan Menang Village is the Yang Method, the Bagnold Method, and the Shun and Hung Method.
