- The research on concrete that continues at this time aims to get good quality ang high-quality concrete, to get it, it needs to be mixed with additives (admixture) as an additional ingredient in concrete mixture. Bestmittel is an added material that can help concrete improve its performance at a faster time and has the duel function of reducing the amount of mixing water needed to produce concrete with a certain consistency and accelerating the binding of concrete. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of the quality of K-300 concrete coupled with the Bestmittel additive and reduce water to normal concrete. The Sample used was cube 15x15x15 cm, at the ages of 3, 7, 14, 21, 28 day. With variations namely normal and Normal concrete + Bestmittel 0,2%, 0,4%, 0,6%, and Water Reduction of 5%, 10% and 15% with 15 sample in each variation. The results showed thet the value of compressive strength of concrete at the ages of 28 days against Normal Concrete was 301,29 Kg/Cm2 while the addition of Bestmittel 0,4% and Water Reduction of 5% got an optimum value of 28 day of 441,62 Kg/Cm2.
