Community Services, this time using used newspapers to reduce household waste to be more
empowered to sell. Which takes place in the kindergarten-RA Asy-Syfaa, District Kebon
Jeruk, West Jakarta. The majority of the participants were housewives who have a lot of free
time to try to be creative with the used newspapers. The goal, among others, to broaden the
skills of mothers parents open jobs at once that if it can do it in everyday life these mothers, in
addition to establishing friendship kindergarten parents in RA Asy-Syfaa. The method used in
this Community Service activities with collaborative-participatory dialogic approach includes
training in-house training (lecture, question and answer, discussion) for the delivery of
materials, direct practice models for the manufacture of newsprint creation of a class action,
tested, practice makes diverse creations of newsprint. The expected outcome of this
Community Services can cater to the needs of household appliances everyday, which can be
used by all family members. Among other things such as: a spoon / fork, the right pencil,
tissue holder, food container, storage box, table lamp, brooches, coasters and plates.
Conclusions in the paper can be empowered to sell more newspapers when such created
shaped wicker / gyre, even more so when it is in a good paint with acrylic paints / varnishes
and paint posters and pilox, so that the results can resemble woven from rattan. Therefore, it
can provide benefits to the participants so that the desire to make basic skills through used
newspapers is becoming one of the opportunities to increase the insert for mothers
households in the area.

Abstrak:
Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat kali ini dengan menggunakan koran bekas guna mereduksi
sampah rumah tangga agar lebih berdaya jual. Yang terlaksana di TK RA Asy-Syfaa,
Kecamatan Kebon Jeruk, Jakarta Barat. Para pesertanya mayoritas adalah ibu rumah tangga
yang banyak memiliki waktu senggang untuk mencoba berkreasi dengan koran bekas
tersebut. Tujuannya antara lain untuk menambah wawasan keterampilan ibu-ibu wali murid
sekaligus membukakan lapangan kerja yang sekiranya dapat disambil dalam keseharian ibu-
ibu tersebut, selain untuk menjalin silahturahim wali murid di TK RA Asy-Syfaa . Metode
yang digunakan dalam kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dengan pendekatan
kolaboratif-partisipatif dialogis meliputi pelatihan in house training (ceramah, tanya jawab,
diskusi) untuk penyampaian materi, praktek langsung untuk pembuatan model-model kreasi
dari kertas koran tindakan kelas, mengujicoba, praktek membuat ragam kreasi dari kertas
koran. Hasil yang diharapkan dari Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini dapat diperuntukkan
untuk kebutuhan alat-alat rumah tangga sehari-hari, yang dapat dipergunakan oleh seluruh
anggota keluarga. Antara lain seperti : tempat sendok/garpu, tepat pensil, tempat tissue,
wadah makanan, kotak penyimpanan, lampu duduk, bros, tatakan gelas dan piring. Simpulan
yang di dapat yaitu kertas koran dapat berdaya jual lebih bila dikreasikan sedemikian rupa
berbentuk anyaman/pilin, terlebih lagi bila telah di warnai baik dengan cat akrilik/poster
maupun cat plitur serta pilox, sehingga hasil yang di dapat menyerupai anyaman dari rotan.
Dengan demikian dapat memberikan manfaat bagi para peserta sehingga timbul keinginan
untuk menjadikan keterampilan dasar melalui kertas koran bekas ini menjadi salah satu
