Pembimbing : (I) Ulla Delfana Rosiani,ST., MT Pembimbing (II) Banni Satria Andoko,S.Kom.,MMSi.Kemacetan arus lalu lintas telah menjadi suatu permasalahan yang ingin dihindari oleh para pengguna kendaraan bermotor di jalan raya terutama di kota - kota besar, misalnya Kota Malang yang membutuhkan penanganan yang sifatnya segera. Hal ini disebabkan jarak antar persimpangan yang terlalu dekat. Semakin bertambahnya volume kendaraan membuat alur lalu lintas tidak teratur. Maka dari itu, perlu dibuat sebuah aplikasi yang dapat membantu pengguna kendaraan bermotor dalam menghindari kemacetan arus lalu lintas.Aplikasi ini dirancang untuk berjalan di atas platform Android yang merupakan sistem operasi berbasis mobile. Versi Android yang dipakai untuk pembuatan aplikasi ini adalah Android versi 2.3 ke atas. Selain itu, bahasa pemrograman Java, database MySQL, dan Google Maps juga digunakan.Hasil akhir pembuatan berupa aplikasi Informasi Lalu Lintas yaitu aplikasi yang memiliki kemampuan menampilkan informasi bereferensi lokasi geografis, mengakses database, koneksi GPS untuk mengetahui koordinat lokasi, serta membantu pengguna untuk mengetahui lokasi kemacetan dengan cara melihat informasi kemacetan berupa list, peta dan marker titik kemacetan.Kata kunci : Informasi Lalu Lintas, Android, GPS, Google MapABSTRACTSabrina, Bella Marulia dan Putri, Devita Maulina. 2013. The city of Malang urgently needed to handle it. This was due to the distance between intersections that were too close and the increasing volume of vehicle made the traffic flow irregular. Therefore, it should be made an application that can help users in avoiding traffic congestion.This application was designed to run on the Android platform which was a mobile-based operating systems. The Android version used for the making of this application was the Android version 2.3 and above. In addition, the Java programming language, MySQL database, and Google Maps were also used.The result of the making the Traffic Information was that the application had the ability to display information referenced geographic location, access the database, connect the GPS to determine location coordinates, and helped the users to know the location of bottlenecks congestion information by looking at a list, map, and the marker points of congestion.Keywords : traffic information, Android, GPS, Google Map
