USULAN PERBAIKAN TATA LETAK FASILITAS DI AREA PRODUKSI CUTTER MUFFLER DENGAN SYSTEMATIC LAYOUT PLANNING

- ABSTRAK Perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi spare part aksesoris otomotif yaitu cutter muffler pada Januari 2020 terjadi peningkatan permintaan produksi cutter muffler dari rata-rata kuartal 4 tahun 2019 sebesar 68%. Kebijakan perusahaan dalam menambah jam kerja belum membuat hasil produksi mencapai target yaitu - 34,6% dari target produksi bulan Januari 2020. Sehingga dilakukan perbaikan tata letak fasilitas di area produksi cutter muffler dengan systematic layout planning. Dalam membuat alternatif layout digunakan systematic layout planning dan UAFLP sehingga didapatlah dua alternatif layout. Dari kedua alternatif tersebut alternatif layout 1 memiliki OMH yang lebih minimal dibanding alternatif layout 2. Persentase penurunan OMH alternatif layout 1 dibanding layout awal adalah 47.91% atau setara dengan Rp.46.982.592,- dalam setahun. Jika dilihat berdasarkan peningkatan produksi dari kedua alternatif layout yang disimulasikan secara statis dengan Promodel 2016, alternatif layout 1 lebih baik karena memiliki peningkatan kapasitas produksi sebesar 44.73%. ABSTRACT A Manufacturing company produces spare parts for automotive accessories namely cutter muffler, in January 2020 there was an increase in demand for cutter muffler production from average of 68% in the 4th quarter of 2019. The company's policy in increasing working hours has not made production results reach the target of - 34.6% of the January 2020 production target. So that the facility layout is improved in the cutter muffler production area with a systematic layout planning. In generating alternatives layout , systematic layout planning and UAFLP are used so that two layout alternatives are obtained. From the two alternatives, layout alternative 1 has a minimum material handling cost compared to layout alternative 2. The percentage of decrease in material handling cost for layout alternative 1 compared to the initial layout is 47.91% or equivalent to Rp.46,982,592, - in a year. When viewed from the increased production of the two alternative layouts simulated statically with the Promodel 2016, layout alternatives 1 is better because it has an increase in production capacity of 44.73%.
