Proses tersebut&#xD; memiliki beberapa kelemahan, antara lain: 1) Operator memiliki resiko yang besar&#xD; terkena larutan kimia yang dapat menyebabkan iritasi pada kulit; dan 2) Waktu&#xD; proses cukup lama, yaitu lebih dari 20 menit. Oleh sebab itu diperlukan sebuah&#xD; mesin etching PCB yang dapat menghindarkan operator dari resiko terkena larutan&#xD; kimia dan mempercepat waktu proses. Mesin etching PCB dengan berbagai&#xD; teknologi sudah cukup banyak tersedia. Namun dari aspek biaya masih cukup&#xD; tinggi. Oleh karenanya, dibutuhkan sebuah mesin-mesin etching PCB yang&#xD; sederhana namun cukup efektif mengatasi kelemahan proses etching manual.&#xD; Pada Penelitian ini akan dilakukan perancangan prototipe mesin etching PCB&#xD; yangakan bekerja berdasarkan perintah yang dimasukan via Telegram berbasis&#xD; Raspberry pi. Ketika seluruh proses etching PCB telah selesai dilakukan maka&#xD; Raspberry pi akan memerintahkan kamera untuk menggambil gambar. Selanjutnya&#xD; hasil foto tersebut akan dikirimkan melalui aplikasi Telegram.&#xD; Hasil pengujian tingkat error waktu proses etching pada saat PCB dicelupkan&#xD; pada cairan etching adalah 0,7%. Sedangkan untuk hasil pengujian tingkat error&#xD; waktu proses pada saat PCB dicelupkan pada cairan etching adalah 1,7%. Dari 4&#xD; kali percobaan, rata &#x2013; rata waktu respon pengiriman pesan seluruh proses etching&#xD; PCB sampai pesan masuk via telegram adalah 3 menit 3 detik. Sedangkan rata &#x2013;&#xD; rata waktu respon pengiriman pesan gambar yang diambil USB Webcam sampai&#xD; pesan masuk via telegram adalah 7,42 detik. Lamanya waktu respon bergantung&#xD; pada kekuatan sinyal sambungan internet.&#xD; Kata Kunci: Etching PCB, Raspberry Pi dan Telegram&#xD; &#xD; Printed Circuit Board (PCB) is an insulator board made of ebonite or fiber&#xD; and coated with conductors made of copper. Process of Etching PCB is still done&#xD; manually. The process has several disadvantages, including: 1) Operators have a&#xD; greater risk of being exposed to chemical solutions that can cause irritation to the&#xD; skin; and 2) The processing time is quite long, which is more than 20 minutes.&#xD; Therefore a PCB etching machine is needed which can prevent the operator from&#xD; being exposed to the risk of chemical solutions and speed up processing time. PCB&#xD; etching machines with various technologies are quite widely available. However,&#xD; the cost aspect is still quite high. Therefore, PCB etching machines are needed that&#xD; are simple but effective enough to overcome the weaknesses of the manual etching&#xD; process.&#xD; In this research, a prototype of a PCB etching machine will be carried out&#xD; which will work based on commands entered via the Raspberry pi based Telegram.&#xD; When the entire PCB etching process has been completed, the Raspberry pi will&#xD; instruct the camera to take pictures. Furthermore, the results of the photos will be&#xD; sent via the Telegram application.&#xD; The results of testing the error level during the etching process when the PCB&#xD; was dipped in etching liquid was 0.7%. As for the results of testing the error rate&#xD; of processing time when the PCB was dipped in etching fluid was 1.7%. Of the 4&#xD; trials, the average response time for sending messages throughout the PCB etching&#xD; process to incoming messages via telegram is 3 minutes 3 seconds. While the&#xD; average response time of sending a USB Webcam picture message to incoming&#xD; messages via telegram is 7.42 seconds.
