  • PT Nippont Paint is a private company engaged in the first paint manufacturing and paint industry pioneer in Japan which has high quality products with various brands of products sold to the entire Asia Pacific marketing. Currently PT Nippont Paint has several difficulties, namely the process of calculating bonuses, performance, making salesman reports from the results of visits to customers who still use bookkeeping and Microsoft Excel applications, causing reports to the owner to be hampered, and vulnerable to data loss such as viruses, data manipulation, processes reservations still use the telephone as a medium of communication and record orders in books that require a fairly expensive process, difficulty in monitoring the performance of salesmen from each branch because the distance between one branch and the central store is quite far apart. This solution is offered to overcome the problem of designing a salesman performance monitoring system using the Exponential Comparison Method which consists of: scheduling visits, making reports on visits, recording customer orders, and calculating bonuses and salesman performance. The results of this design make it easy to make a report on monitoring the performance of salesmen in each branch. Key words: Monitoring Kinerja Salesman, Metode Perbandingan Eksponensial, Mockup PT Nippont Paint merupakan perusahaan swasta yang bergerak dibidang manufaktur cat pertama dan pelopor industri cat di Jepang yang memiliki produk kualitas tinggi dengan berbagai merek produk yang dijual ke pemasaran seluruh Asia Pasifik. Saat ini PT Nippont Paint mengalami beberapa kesulitan yaitu proses perhitungan bonus, kinerja, pembuatan laporan salesman dari hasil kunjungan ke pelanggan yang masih menggunakan pencatatan buku dan aplikasi Microsoft Excel menyebabkan laporan ke owner terhambat , dan bisa rentan kehilangan data seperti virus, manipulasi data, proses pemesanan masih menggunakan telepon sebagai media komunikasi dan mencatat pesanan di buku yang membutuhkan proses yang cukup mahal, kesulitan dalam melakukan monitoring kinerja salesman dari masingmasing cabang dikarenakan jarak antara satu cabang dengan toko pusat cukup berjauhan. Solusi ini ditawarkan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yaitu perancangan sistem monitoring kinerja salesman dengan menggunakan Metode Perbandingan Ekponensial yang terdiri dari pembuatan jadwal kunjungan , pembuatan laporan hasil kunjungan, mencatat pesanan pelanggan, dan perhitungan bonus dan kinerja salesman. Hasil dari perancangan ini memberikan kemudahan dalam membuat laporan pemantauan kinerja salesman di setiap cabang. Kata kunci: Monitoring Kinerja Salesman, Metode Perbandingan Eksponensial, Mockup
