- In a network infrastructure there are generally several issues that affect the process of sending data, especially to services offered by internet service providers. For this reason, it needs to be anticipated as a solution so the services offered can operate properly. When congestion occurs, the use of the label switch path signaling is one of the best options to solve this problem, because expert staff can switch routes from the source router to the destination router so they can avoid the trouble spot. Key words: Signaling, Label Switch Path, Multiprotocol Label Switching Dalam sebuah infrastruktur jaringan umumnya terjadi beberapa isu yang mempengaruhi proses pengiriman data, khususnya pada layanan yang di tawarkan oleh perusahaan penyedia jasa layanan internet. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan antisipasi sebagai solusi agar layanan yang di tawarkan dapat beroperasi dengan baik. Ketika terjadi congestion penggunaan signaling label switch path menjadi salah satu opsi terbaik untuk menyelesaikan masalah ini, karena staff ahli dapat mengalihkan rute dari router sumber menuju router tujuan sehingga dapat menghindari node yang bermasalah.
