- This research aims to analyze the purpose of the Toko. XYZ in investing accounting information systems, which is (a) whether the company invested an accounting information system pointed to change the works from manual. (b)whether the accounting information system invested, is only to support the automation of the accounting process. (c) whether the accounting information system invested, to support the company's strategy, by using library study methods, interviews with interested parties, field observations and through questionnaires that have been distributed to Toko. XYZ The results of this study of the accounting information system investment objectives at Toko. XYZ is (a) the investment objectives of the accounting information system at the XYZ store have been aimed at turning from manual work into a computer. (b)Accounting information systems have also been pointed to support the automation of accounting processes. (c) Only some portion of the accounting information systems are pointed to support competitive advantage or the company's strategic processes. XYZ dalam menginvestasikan sistem informasi akuntansi yaitu diantara lain (a) apakah perusahaan menginvestasikan sistem informasi akuntansi hanya ditujukan untuk penggantian pekerjaan dari manual (b) apakah sistem informasi akuntansi yang diinvestasikan hanya ditujukan untuk mendukung otomatisasi proses akuntansi. (c) apakah sistem informasi akuntansi yang di investasikan ditujukan untuk mendukung strategik perusahaan, dengan menggunakan metode studi pustaka, wawancara terhadap pihak – pihak yang berkepentingan, obsevasi lapangan serta melalui kuesioner yang telah di bagikan kepada Toko.XYZ Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa tujuan investasi sistem informasi akutansi pada Toko.XYZ adalah (a) Secara keseluruhan tujuan investasi sistem informasi akuntansi pada toko XYZ telah ditujukan untuk mengubah pekerjaan manual menjadi komputer (b) Sistem informasi akuntansi juga telah ditujukan untuk mendukung otomatisasi proses akuntansi. (c) Hanya sebagian kecil dari sistem informasi akuntansi yang ditujukan untuk menunjang keunggulan kompetitif atau proses strategik perusahaan.
