  • Along with the progress of the times, the field of telecommunications technologies is getting rapidly. Human needs to be able to exchange information quickly became the focus in developing telecommunications technology. For renewable technology that is developed to comply 5G which is expected to be able to bring the new frequency bands much wider with bandwidth per channel frequency. Therefore, the use Millimeter wave (mmWave) which has a high frequency spectrum, so that it can reach the higher data transmission speed. The use of Millimeter wave (mmWave) can be applied on microstrip yagi array antenna that has a small size, cheap in fabrication, and light. Microstrip yagi array antenna designed to obtain a high gain. Structure of the microstrip yagi array antenna consists of 9 elements with 2 patch reflector elements, 1 patch driven element, 6 patch director elements and its feeder with the type of substrate used was Rogers RT/Duroid 5880 with a thickness of 1,575mm,
