Through documentary film, real-world reality can be moved through the process of representation into film.&#xD; There are several types of documentary films, one of which is a biographical documentary that lifts the life of a community leader who has a great impact on the wider community.&#xD; In Indonesia alone a lot of famous leaders who have the greatness or uniqueness of its own that has a direct relationship and impact on society. There are differentiate Dedi Mulyadi with other leaders, namely he is a humanist and has a unique political policy.&#xD; In the making, drawers play an important role in mengimplentasikan concepts that have been prepared previously. The use of cinematography theory and film theory becomes a weapon to explain the message in the film to be conveyed to the audience.&#xD; &#xD; Film dokumenter disajikan dengan fakta objektif yang memiliki nilai esensial dan eksistensial tersendiri bagi masyarakat yang menikmatinya. Melalui film dokumenter, realitas yang terjadi di dunia nyata dapat dipindahkan melalui proses representasi kedalam bentuk film.&#xD; Ada beberapa jenis film dokumenter, salah satunya ialah Dokumenter biografi yang mengangkat kehidupan seorang tokoh masyarakat yang memiliki dampak besar terhadap masyarakat luas.&#xD; Di Indonesia sendiri banyak sekali tokoh pemimpin terkenal yang memiliki kehebatan ataupun keunikan tersendiri yang mempunyai hubungan langsung dan berdampak terhadap masyarakat. Ada yang membedakan Dedi Mulyadi dengan tokoh pemimpin lainnya, yaitu beliau adalah seorang budayawan dan memiliki kebijakan politik yang cukup unik.&#xD; Dalam pembuatannya, penata gambar berperan penting dalam mengimplentasikan konsep-konsep yang sudah disusun sebelumnya.
