The method used is descriptive quantitative. The sample used was 391 respondents. The sampling technique uses probability sampling (random sampling) with simple random sampling method. This study uses a scale of Nationalism belonging to Dekker (2003) and Constructive Patriotism of Staub (1999). With this, the forming factor of Nationalism is national feeling, national liking, national pride, national preference and national superiority. While the constructing factor of Constructive Patriotism is self-connection and self-care, awareness and self-understanding of the group and the role of value. Nationalism has a mean of 56,90 which is stated as "High" with the dominant forming factor of national liking which has a mean of 14,34. While the Constructive Patriotism level has a mean of 33,33 stated as "High" with the dominant forming factor of awareness and self-understanding of the group which has a mean of 19,36

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor pembentuk
Nasionalisme dan Patriotisme Konstruktif serta tingkat Nasionalisme dan
Patriotisme Konstruktif yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa-mahasiswi program S1 kelas
reguler 1 di Universitas Mercu Buana Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah
metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 391
orang responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan probability sampling
(random sampling) dengan metode simple random sampling. Penelitian ini
menggunakan skala ukur Nasionalisme milik Dekker (2003) dan Patriotisme
Konstruktif milik Staub (1999). Dengan ini maka faktor pembentuk dari
Nasionalisme adalah national feeling, national liking, national pride, national
preference serta national superiority. Sedangkan faktor pembentuk Patriotisme
konstruktif adalah diri koneksi dan diri peduli, kesadaran dan pemahaman diri
akan kelompok serta peran nilai. Tingkat Nasionalisme memiliki mean 56,90
dinyatakan “Tinggi” dengan faktor pembentuk dominan national liking yang
memiliki mean 14,34. Sedangkan tingkat Patriotisme Konstruktif memiliki mean
33,33 dinyatakan “Tinggi” dengan faktor pembentuk dominan kesadaran dan
