High Pressure Heater, is one of the components in the Steam Power Center (PLTU). High Pressure Heater serves to raise the temperature gradually or as a further heater of water before entering the boiler. At one time there would be a decrease in the performance of the work of the High Pressure Heater, which ultimately decreases the thermal efficiency of the power plant cycle and even the generator system will often be disturbed, as happened in PLTU 2 BANTEN LABUAN. The most common damage is leakage from the tube. The author feels in doing the repair process takes a long time. This is due to aspects of equipment, labor, work planning, and workmanship procedures.

PT PLN (Persero) PUSHARLIS UWP I Merak memproduksi bermacam - macam komponen suku cadang pembangkitan PLTU, PLTGU, PLTD, PLTA dengan metode reverse engineering (RE), serta engineering, procurement dan construction (EPC) Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Air (PLTA) skala kecil. High Pressure Heater, merupakan salah satu komponen pada Pusat Listrik Tenaga Uap (PLTU). High Pressure Heater berfungsi untuk menaikkan temperatur secara bertahap atau sebagai pemanas lanjut dari air sebelum masuk ke boiler. Suatu saat pasti akan terjadi penurunan performa kerja dari High Pressure Heater, yang akhirnya menurunkan efisiensi thermal dari siklus PLTU bahkan sistem pembangkit akan sering terganggu, seperti halnya yang terjadi di PLTU 2 BANTEN LABUAN. Kerusakan yang sering terjadi adalah kebocoran dari tube- tube. Penulis merasa di dalam melakukan proses perbaikan tersebut membutuhkan waktu yang lama. Hal ini disebabkan dari aspek peralatan, tenaga kerja, perencanaan kerja, dan prosedur pengerjaan.
