Saat ini koridor jalan di Kawasan Pasar Lama Tangerang dikenal sebagai kawasan perdagangan dan jasa yang menyediakan keperluan sehari – hari serta keperluan khusus untuk perayaan festival kebudayaan etnis Tionghoa seperti imlek, cap go meh, pehcun dan lain sebagainya dengan harga yang terjangkau. Kondisi tersebut menjadikan kawasan Pasar Lama sebagai tujuan utama bagi masyarakat tionghoa dari dalam dan luar Kota Tangerang untuk berbelanja keperluan festival tahunan tersebut, namun akibat perkembangan Kota Tangerang yang pesat dengan disertai munculnya pusat – pusat perbelanjaan baru di sekitar pasar lama membuat keberadaan pasar lama sedikit terlupakan. Ditambah lagi dengan perubahan fisik kawasan, terutama fasad bangunannya membuat kawasan ini semakin terancam identitasnya. Untuk itu maka perlu dilakukan penilitian yang terkait dengan karakter Arsitektur yang telah mengalami perubahan. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam jenis penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif. Metode yang digunakan yaitu dengan metode pengumpulan bahan dokumen/data dan metode pengamatan/observasi. Arsitektur Tionghoa yang ada pada pecinan Pasar Lama telah menyesuaikan beberapa perkembangan zaman dan kondisi lingkungan di Indonesia. Terdapat beberapa elemen fasad yang masih tetap dipertahankan dan identik dengan bangunan pecinan. Pecinan Pasar Lama saat ini terbilang sudah mulai kehilangan karakter kawasanya. Keberadaan etnis Tionghoa (cina) Benteng telah secara turun temurun menempati kawasan pecinan Pasar Lama Tangerang. Namun karakter atau langgam Arsitektur Tionghoa sebagian besar telah mengalami perubahan atau renovasi total. Hal tersebut dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor fisik dan non fisik serta beberapa fungsi bangunan yang telah berubah. Kata Kunci : Fasad, Tipologi,Pecinan, Arsitektur Tionghoa

ABSTRACT
Pasar Lama Tangerang is one of the areas that have the potential of cultural tourism in Tangerang City that offers historic buildings with Chinatown nuances. Currently the road corridor in Pasar Lama Tangerang is known as a trading and service area which provides daily necessities and special purposes for Chinese ethnic cultural festival festival such as imlek, cap go meh, pehcun etc. at an affordable price. This condition makes the Old Market area as the main destination for the Chinese community from inside and outside Tangerang City to shop for the annual festival, but due to the rapid development of Tangerang City with the emergence of new shopping centers around the old market makes the existence of the old market a little forgotten . Coupled with the physical changes of the area, especially the facade of the building makes this area more threatened identity.
For that it is necessary to do research related to the character of Architecture that has undergone a change. This research is included in this type of qualitative-descriptive research. The method used is the method of collecting materials documents / data and methods of observation / observation.
