- AbstractMakawidey is one of the sub-districts in Aertembaga District, Bitung City. Most of the fishermen inMakawidey Sub-district use light boats. The results of the pre-survey show that this light boat fishing is stillcarried out and maintained by local fishermen considering that light boats can provide income for fishermen'sfamilies. This study focuses more on the wives of light boat fishermen about how they contribute to theirhousehold income. The problems in this study are as follows: 1). How much is the income of the wives oflight boat fishermen in Makawidey Sub-district. 2). How much is the contribution of the income of the wivesof light boat fishermen to the total family income in Makawidey Sub-district. The objectives of this study are:1). Identifying the jobs of the wives of light boat fishermen. 2). To find out the amount of income of the wivesof light boat fishermen in Makawidey Sub-district. 3). To find out the amount of contribution of the wives oflight boat fishermen to their family income in Makawidey Sub-district. The method that will be used in thisstudy is the survey method. The population in this study were the wives of light boat fishermen in MakawideySub-district. The wives of light boat fishermen in Makawidey Village numbered 10 people. The datacollection method used in this study used the census method, namely taking all elements of the populationas respondents. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the work of the wives of lightboat fishermen in Makawidey Village, Aertembaga District, Bitung City is a credit sales business, a stallbusiness, a cake sales business, an ice mambo sales business, a yellow rice sales business, a food stallbusiness. The average contribution of the income of the wives of light boat fishermen to family income is31.40% of the total family income of Rp. 115,168,000 / yearKeywords: contribution; fisherman's wife; MakawideyAbstrakMakawidey merupakan salah satu Kelurahan yang berada di Kecamatan Aertembaga Kota Bitung. Masyarakat diKelurahan Makawidey sebagian nelayannya menggunakan perahu lampu. Hasil prasurvei menunjukkan bahwanelayan perahu lampu ini masih dijalankan dan dipertahankan terus oleh nelayan setempat mengingat bahwa perahulampu mampu memberikan penghasilan bagi keluarga nelayan. Penelitian ini lebih difokuskan pada istri nelayanperahu lampu tentang bagaimana kontribusinya terhadap pendapatan rumah tangganya.Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: 1). Berapa pendapatan istri nelayan perahu lampu diKelurahan Makawidey. 2). Berapa kontribusi pendapatan istri nelayan perahu lampu terhadap total pendapatankeluarga di Kelurahan Makawidey.Tujuan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu: 1). Mengidentifikasi pekerjaan istri nelayan perahu lampu. 2). Untuk mengetahuibesar pendapatan istri nelayan peahulampu di Kelurahan Makawidey. 3). Untuk mengetahui besarnya kontribusi istrinelayan perahu lampu terhadap pendapatan keluarganya di Kelurahan Makawidey.Metode yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah istrinelayan perahu lampu di Kelurahan Makawidey. Istri nelayan perahu lampu di Kelurahan Makawidey berjumlah 10orang. Metode pengambilan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode sensus, yaitu mengambilseluruh elemen populasi dijadikanresponden.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pekerjaan istri nelayan perahu lampu di Kelurahan MakawideyKecamatan Aertembaga Kota Bitung yaitu usaha jual pulsa, usaha warung, usaha jualan kue, usaha jualan es mambo,jualan nasi kuning, usaha warung makan. Rata-rata kontribusi pendapatanistri nelayan perahu lampu terhadappendapatan keluarga sebesar 31,40% dari total pendapatan keluarga sebesar Rp.115.168.000/tahunKata kunci: kontribusi; istri nelayan; Makawidey
