- Pasal 16 Ayat 1 huruf m Undang-Undang Nomor 2 Tahun 2014 Tentang Jabatan Notaris, diantaranya mengatur tentang pembacaan yang harus dibacakan oleh notaris saat pemohon dalam pembuatan akta menghadap notaris. Dalam kasus di Kecataman Bangil Kabupaten Pasuruan, ada saja sebenarnya pemohon yang tidak mau menghadap atau tidak paham dengan keharusannya untuk mendengarkan pembacaan akta yang dilakukan oleh notaris, tetapi notaris kemudian mengingatkan pada pemohon, bahwa dirinya mempunyai kewajiban mendengarkan dan memahami isi akta yang dibuat oleh notaris. Hal ini patut dipahami, karena tidak semua pemohon memahami perintah UU.Kata kunci: notaris, pemohon, akta autentik, kode etikArticle 16 Paragraph 1 letter m of Law Number 2 Year 2014 concerning Notary Position, including regulating about readings that must be read by a notary when the applicant in making a deed is facing the notary. The case in Bangil, Pasuruan Regency, there were actually applicants who did not want to face or did not understand the necessity to listen to the reading deed by the notary, but the notary then reminded the applicant that he had the obligation to listen and understand the contents of the deed made by the notary.
