- PT. Salim Ivomas Pratama Tbk (Bimoli), Bitung, North Sulawesi is a company that has been widely recognized by the community because of the quality and appreciation gained. It is necessary for the company to conceive about the policy or strategy in order to establish good relationships with distributors and consumers. One of the major issues of the company is in decision or policy-making related to the return of products that are non-reusable by distributors or consumers. In this research, the authors conducted a study on the practice of reverse logistics, specifically on matters relating to policy-making and behaviour to be taken by the company in addressing products that are non-reusable by distributors orconsumers. The authors also study the policies applied by the company in processing these products in order to prevent the loss of profit. By using interview and questioner methods, we are able to discover the behavior of the company in overcoming product return. The interviews and questionnaires are given to the management of companies who also can be identified as the decision makers. Based on the results of interviews and questionnaires, we find that ingeneral, the company understands and runs the concept of reverse logistics in their company to establish good relationships with distributors and consumers.
