Research about effectivity of merunggai seed Moringa oleifera Lamk. as an agent to reduce cadmium (Cd) concentration in waters has been conducted on November _ December 2012. The aim of this research was to know the effectivity of merunggai seed powder to reduce cadmium concentration in waters. Exsperimental research designed using Stratified Random Sampling with two factors. First factor is merunggai seed powder with 3 dosage: 100, 200, 300 mg. Second factor is time contact duration with in 24 and 48 hours. Each factor conducted with 3 replication. Cadmium concentration measured using Ato-mic Absorbtion Spectroscopy (AAS). Result showed that cadmium concentration decreased with 300 mg merunggai seed powder in 24 hours.
