- Research on the Identification of Genes Aromatic Rice Nutfah Local palsma Enrekang South Sulawesi has been done . Based on the results of PCR amplification in 9 districts of origin Enrekang local rice using the P1/P2 primer has been identified that carry allele aromatic rice . This is indicated by the formation of ribbon measures approximately 450 bp DNA either in the control of aromatic rice as well as the positive samples . From 9 local rice Enrekang origin , has been acquired by 4 rice aromatic allele is known to bring PE - 1 , PE - 4 , PE and PE - 6 - 9 but these alleles are dominant or heterosigot unknown. When compared with the results of PCR amplification on rice 9 primary origin Enrekang with Bradbury , seen that PE - 4 , PE - 6 , PE and PE - 8 - 9 has a clearer bands than others . Of these 4 , 3 of which indicate the presence of aromatic allele when amplified with primers P1/P2 ie PE - 4 , PE and PE - 6 - 9
