- Siti Nuraliah (I 211 08 275). Changes in Total Dry Matter (DM) and Mixed Waste Gas Production of Wheat Leaf Market and Mulberry (Morus alba) wich is fermented with Different Levels of water. (with Syahriani Syahrir Guidance, as major adviser and FKTangdilingting, As a Member Adviser) Vegetable waste of the market is potential as animal feed ingredients, but most of the waste had a tendency to decay and damage easily, so the processing need to be done to extend the shelf life as well as to suppress the anti-nutritional effects. This research aims to determine the change in the amount of dry matter in the waste mixture to the flour market mulberry leaves before and after the fermented mixture of flour and the effectiveness of both flour and mulberry leaves (Morus alba) in different levels. The design of the study are set according to the Random Group (RGD) (Gasperz, 1991) with 4 groups and 4 treatments (addition of water) which is Po without the addition of water, waste BK P1 10% market, 20% BK P2 and P3 market waste 30% of waste BK market. Based on the analysis of variance showed that the difference in dry ingredients differ very significantly (P <0.01) different to the addition of water. Whereas gas production based on the analysis of variance no significant effect (P> 0.05) on addition of water. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be conclude that the fermentation process and market waste mulberry leaf meal without the addition of water (Po) identify a fermentation process that goes well with an increase of gas production.
