- ABSTRACT The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge and attitudes of TB patients and their families thus improving treatment compliance and improved diet TB patients. The event was held at the Center for Lung Health Society Makassar. The activities carried out for 2 days. The results show that Education performed successfully improves knowledge of TB patients by 56% in the first post-test and post-test 24% in the second. At the patient's family knowledge increased by 56% in the first post-test and post-test 28% in the second. Good attitude of the patients experienced an increase of 44% in the first post-test and post test 4% in the second. Good attitude of the patient families increased by 32% in the first post-test and post-test 16% in the second. A change in the frequency of meals, but there was no major change in the portion of every meal on the respondents. Education activities need to be done on an ongoing basis to patients and families. Necessary to evaluate the educational activities undertaken to improve and enhance the effectiveness of these activities, and developed a variety of educational methods to avoid boredom audience / target education activities.
