- This study intends to analyze the comparison of sericulture agency between Enrekang, South Sulawesi, Indonesia and Guangdong Province, China. Study used table analysis method to explain the difference between two location. Data collection were obtained by documentary review and observation in the field. Results of this study showed that contract agreement in Enrekang contain asymmetric information that lead to opportunistic behavior of the agent. The principle difference between Enrekang and Guangdong sericulture agency including: 1) cocoon buying and price guarantee, 2) cocoon quality, 3) egg quality assurance. Recommendation for the policy maker is to make the contract agreement more detail and the contract just for two parties.
