- Today, gays in society grew rapidly. Many of them have dared to open their identity on social or family environment. Some of them can be accepted by the environment, there are also some of them are only accepted by the family or social environment, or even acceptable to both the environment. Sibling relationship is defined as the most enduring relationships in family relationships, and even including the secondary relationship, the relationship is unique and powerful. This study aims to provide an overview of the social acceptance of gay siblings in his social life as well as the gay life siblings. In-depth interviews (in-depth interviews) was conducted on three sibling young adults aged 20-40 years who have siblings that have been coming out gay. The study lasted for five months, beginning in July 2012 through December 2012. The results of this study indicate that two of the three subjects had social adjustment to social life and to the lives of gay siblings. Even so, all three applauds as gay even though they have not been able to adjust to the environment because of the traditional family, religion, and the rules are still very strong.
