  • Parents and teachers need to share responsibility in implementing the education for hearing disabled children. Parents and teachers need to collaborate in sharing this responsibility. This parental and teachers collaboration requires respect, sharing and communication between one another. Such collaboration tends to influence school achievement of the children as well as influencing the skill development of the children. The influence of each child is unique and other factors may also contribute to the development of the child. This research is conducted on 4 mothers of hearing disabled children and 5 teachers. Four hearing disabled children were participated in this research. They were taken from 2 parallel classes (2 children each class). This research used in-depth interview with each subject. The result shows that collaboration between parents and teachers gives positive influence on the development of hearing disabled children. Subjects also agreed that collaboration between their parents and teachers is important for the future of the children.
